As a curvy size 7 & walking tall through the world at 5'2", I've pretty much received the message that I should be wearing heels pretty much all the time to lengthen my silhouette & add some sexy zing to my curviness. However, I'm one of the many many MANY women who can't bear the discomfort of heels. I need to run for the bus, make it down metro stairs, scoot around the office, AND shop! I'll take ballet-flat comfort (sigh - a definite NO for my height * shape) over statement height, though I admire the look. To add insult to fashion injury, I've also got wider feet, so stylish alternatives with some lift are all but impossible to find!
Candid Cool: I very much agree with you, you can very much get the Olsen look for less, and they do know how to shop with their statement making accessories!
coco & bitterbabe: they have a hot like fire shoe collection, what I would give for a peek at the closet...not sure about everyone having a pair of these...I would need to be carried around if I wore em!
Emjayne: i totally feel what you are saying. I am short and hippy but have a true love for flats...but I am on this constant mission to find a nice pair of comfortable heels that go *click clack*, make me look super tall with long legs (yeah right) and that I can fall asleep in cuz they are so comfortable...would I find those in La La Land? It is tough for us short girls who hate heels...
