Whether it be the “oh look at me, I am a revolutionary artist, what with my random brush strokes print” or the throw a paint can on the wall, take note of the splatter print and consider it art in its utmost deepest form, fashion has gone paint happy. Move over Warhol, Picasso and (*insert relevant artist name here that makes me seem like I know more about art than I really do*), fashion is taking over the art world. Granted fashion and art are really one in of the same but I have yet to see a season with so much inspiration drawn from a simple paint brush and can of paint –please keep in mind that I have been following fashion for oh, about 5 seasons now so my experience would be considered, from those in the know, a tad limited.
