OK so the harem pants are growing on me, I am not gunna lie.  I asked a fashion forward friend of mine recently how she felt about them and she shook her head "Nah, it's not right, not right at all".  I was taken aback as I assumed that any individual deemed fashionista would at least consider it as an option.  I guess I was wrong.  In any case, Rihanna is working the look here with her usual eclectic mix of pizazz and grace.  Check out 2 versions below: one for an exorbitant amount and one for super cheap.  Enjoy! Jumpsuits are last years maxis.  So easy and casual, perfect for summer nights out with a pair of flats or belted with heels and a blazer for work.  The versatility comes in all shapes and sizes.  I have yet to purchase me a pair but it's def. on my list. If the runway shows of Spring 07 taught us anything, it was that the future is here, and it is here to stay. Nicolas Ghesquière had the Balenciaga models in pieces suitable for the Jetson family. Gucci and Stella McCartney also provided their touch of futurama to Spring with their space age goggles and silver dresses. This evidently has trickled down to the retail world and the results were unanimous: silver, silver and oh…did I mention silver? From ballerina flats at H&M , bangles at Le Chateau , big bags at Aldo and what’s this: le ggings at American Apparel (??)…silver was and still continues to be everywhere. We are completely inundated with this non color. For some of us (i.e. Trekkies , astronauts and strippers) it is business as usual. But for us regular gals, this trend can leave us scratching our heads and wrinkling our noses. If not done correctly, we could run the risk of looking like a roll of aluminum foil or a slightly overdone Christmas tree. So, like anything else...

Ok so Chanel has this bag. It retails for approxima tely $849.00 on Ebay. For this brand, you would think it to be a reasonable price for maybe a small chained purse right? Or maybe a version of what Penelope Cruz has been seen carrying out and about town. Not so much. It’s this plastic bag that looks like the one you were given by your mom when, at age 6, you decided you too wanted a purse, lipstick and shoulder pads…we all had one of those. But Chanel deems it appropriate to make one, and sell one for $849.00 . But then again…this is Chanel. If they could sell designer air, they would…or have they done that already? The bag is part of their Naked Collection and it goes with this Lucite trend that seems to be everywhere in maga zines now, but has yet to hit the retail market.
