More and more, I am coming to terms with the idea of quality over quantity. One well cut garment is better than 100 so so fits. Granted I love me a good bargain but any stylista or fashion maven will emphasize the importance of investment pieces. What with the economy being a bit all over the place and the environment being a primary concern with all of us, the shopping mindset is not what it used to be. I have become picky. No longer am I frivolous with my purchases. With this shift in mindset, Nicole Bridger, a Canadian (!!!) designer, recently caught my eye. Her pieces are flowy, beautifully cut and seem to all work effortlessly together. To top it off, she uses fabrics that are from natural and renewable resources. Eco friendly is clearly the new black.
