My Feet are all Tingly...
Ok so I have a story for you all...
A few months ago, I was checking out Lucky Magazine's website and saw this girl wearing the most hotest, incrediblest, coolestest shoes everest. The shoes were so cool I felt the need to add and "est" to half the words in that last sentence. It was love. Really. So I marched on over to my Nine West Canada store to purchase them but was unsuccessful. They were no where to be seen and I was sad. I tried to move on, buying other shoes, thinking about other brands, taking up a new hobby...you know, the regular stuff you do to try to forget someone/something. But yet those darn Nine West shoes stayed in my mind...they were in my heart forever...and ever...and ever lol
Then one fine morning, or night (whatever) whilst browsing Piperlime and minding my own business, what do I see but my shoes. And what's this...they have my size and um...excuse me...you are on sale too?! Well I took this as a hint and a half..they needed to be purchased. It was meant to be! So I had my dad in the states order them (Piperlime does not ship to Canada- arghghghghg) and send them over. So I got them Saturday. With my friends by my side, I opened the box and pulled one out. Amidst the ooohs, and ahhhs of the envious girls around me, i put one on...then the other. I only have 4 words for you- complete and total hotness. They were made for me. It was love...the shoes and I were going to live happily ever after!!
this is where the fairy tale ends...
My friends and I were going out and of course I worked my outfit around my shoes. I think the pain in my soles started pretty much as I walked out of my house. It felt a bit off but I decided to ignore it...my mom always said: Il faut souffrir pour etre belle (french for you need to suffer to be pretty...but somehow it sounds better in french...). By the end of a night of dancing and walking around the old port of Montreal, to say I was in pain was an understatement. I had to occasionally wipe the tears from my eyes. Times were tough that night. I went to bed and woke up the next am with cuts on my toes and a painful sensation on my soles and in my soul...it was not good. (ps- you like how I did that little pun with sole and soul...it was good non? lol) Now, 2 days later, my feet are still recovering.
I now look at those shoes, sitting pretty in my closet with equal parts disdain and admiration...Will I wear them again, most probably...it's love. Will I have to wipe the tears from my eyes to hide the pain in my feet- i think so. If there is anything I learned from this ordeal- always have band aids with you at all times and girls with pretty shoes that cut up your feet need to be driven everywhere- haha

You could sell them on ebay and hope that nobody there reads your blog.
Or, you could just wear them when you aren't going out dancing.
Or, bandaids and lots of ibuprofen for the next outing.
However, I don't think peeping bandaids from your feet will make your love still look hot. Wear it as is; sachet it as is.
I like your blog =) so chic! Congratulations!
surely it was worth it for shoes as hot as those!
At the Watsons store (i dunno if it's available in your district), they sell these products that when you want to go out dancing with high heels, you may wear them down under your sole. Why don't you give it a look?
Thank you all- they r hot indeed and maybe it is because it was the first time I wore them...gosh I hope so.
mar-mar- yes, aerosoles are pretty comfy and they look great...they are pricier but you pay for comfort!
Elif- unfortunately, I dont think we have a Watson's store in montreal, or none that I have heard of.
nah- I wont sell them on ebay...ill keep em cuz no matter how they messed up my feet, i still love em...so sad lol
i think the larger size and alcohol saved my adoration for these beautiful and modestly sexy heels. Good luck! dont give up on them!!
wore them.
they KILLED my feet.
i had to part ways with them.
hurt feet are never healthy.
the alcohol also usually helps...its like you forget the constant pain until the morning after when it all hits you!
yes Fab Gal- pain is beauty arghgh :)
Great articles though, love celebrity fashion.
