Cameron pairs the booties and the mini
I really love this look- the heaviness of a solid boot paired with a mini dresss. You can get away with uber short dresses if you pair them with similar chunky shoes. This look would not have worked as well f Cameron would have worn, say, some sky high stiletto heels.
1) Dress- Asos $50
2) Dress- Fred Flare $84
3) Dress- Asos $17
4) Booties- DSW $70

25 Movies that shook the world of fashion...
Check out this article by the Times Online- a definite worthwhile read. Interestingly enough, SATC did not make it on the list and I cannot say that I am surprised. As a matter of fact, I am in complete agreement with Coco from Coco's Tea Party on why the SATC movie's fashion was just very meh and ungroundbreaking. Enjoy!

Rachel's chiffon dress and leather leggings
I think this works- I like how Rachel pairs the ultra feminine girly chiffon dress with a tough pair of leggings. This outfit is all about balance and Rachel has achieved it only in true Rachel manner.

I am seriously feeling one shoulder dresses!
There is something about one shoulder dresses that makes my heart go pitter patter. I don't know if it is because I am sick of their strapless counterparts that are just oh so very 2008, leaving little to the imagination. Or maybe it is because the one shoulder just gives off that greek goddess in a toga vibe that I am definitely feeling these days. Whatever it is, it works. I just need to limit myself to maybe 2...ok max 3 and that's it, I promise. In any case, there are a few cheap vs steep versions below for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Book This Look- Beyonce
1) Cut off shorts Pac Sun $43
2) Tweed Jacket Talbots $170
3) T Shirt Top Shop $50
4) Necklace Tilly's $8
5) Pumps Steve Madden at Endless $ 100
What an interesting look- not something you see every day which is why I felt the need to book it. I am really loving how Beyonce picked the ladylike tweed jacket to pair the cut off shorts with when she could have easily opted for the boyfriend blazer or even the "let's emphasize the fact that shoulder pads or even shoulders for that matter are in" blazer. Kudos to Beyonce- the pink is refreshing, the layered necklaces are not over the top and the cut off shorts cut off just right and show off those killer legs of hers. Awesome.

The Printed Dress and Tough Shoe
I know, I know- Anna's look here is nothing revolutionary nor is it groundbreaking. But I think it is nice to emphasize how prints (whether they be floral, tribal, technicolor or artsy) really help pull together an outfit. Had the dress been a solid color, I would have paid it neither gaze nor glance but now its got its very own posting- whooppee!

Steep vs Cheap- The red dress and tan shoes combo
I used to wear red a lot back in the day (i.e. 2-3 years ago). But then I drifted into the darker palettes- the greys and navy blues. But these new dresses are awakening my senses for all that is red. I love the idea of short red mini dress with the subtle tan shoe. The contrast between both work wonders together. In typical Lookbook fashion, I provided 2 looks- one that is pretty affordable and another that is a bit on the pricey side. Enjoy!
